Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology.

Prepared 4 November 2026, based on a review carried out while the site was built.

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is our target, not a certified result, and we will keep improving the site.

What the site does

  • Keyboard navigation: every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline. A “Skip to content” link is the first item on every page.
  • Structure: pages use headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can move around them easily. The page language is set to British English.
  • Images: meaningful photographs have text descriptions. Decorative background textures are hidden from screen readers. The Global Coverage map has a text description and the same information appears as text on the page.
  • Colour and contrast: text colours were chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast against their backgrounds, on both the dark and light sections.
  • Resizing and reflow: the layout adapts from large desktop screens down to small phones, and text can be enlarged in the browser without content being lost.
  • Forms: every field has a visible label, required fields are marked for assistive technology, and status messages are announced.
  • Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, the logo shimmer, section fade-ins and map animations are switched off. Content never depends on animation, and nothing plays automatically with sound.

Known limitations

  • Until our online form service is connected, submitting a form opens your own email app with the message ready to send. If that does not work for you, please email info@sterlingriskgroup.com directly.
  • Our downloadable PDFs (the capability statement and course sheets) may not be fully accessible. We can send the same information in another format on request.

Feedback and contact
